About this Live In-Person Workshop

This workshop is a sequel & extension to Kylie’s original popular Foundation Art workshop.
Perfect for teachers new to teaching foundation level in the art room as well as experienced foundation art teachers looking for a refresher and new ideas.

Look to build confidence and knowledge through hands-on experiences.

Students will have an opportunity to explore the element of shape through different mediums which will allow them to build their bank of knowledge.

Teachers will be able to use processes taught and adapt them to their own curriculum.

In this workshop, you will:

• Explore Shape & Pattern through simple printing & drawing techniques.
• Learn how to introduce basic cutting, collage & composition skills.
• Create simple 2D & 3D plasticine models & creatures using simple modelling techniques.
• Explore & Express through watercolour exploration exercises and extension ideas.
