Background & Expertise

- BFA in Sculpture … Victorian College of the Arts

- Successful completion of dozens of ‘Artist in Schools’ projects.

- Hundreds of artworks and installations in public parks and playgrounds, many evolving through community consultation.  Most of these are throughout Victoria Australia, but also in Germany, the UK and the USA.

I am a full time ‘Power Carver’ of 20 years. My art practice has taken me all over the world, winning many awards along the way.

My liberal use of colour makes my work stand out from that of my peers, and has also lead me into schools where we (the students and myself) might be recycling what’s left of a much loved tree that had to be removed, or we may be creating something new, and exciting, and colorful, possibly even functional.  Regardless, the children will be involved in the creation of something relatively permanent, usually large in scale, that will be at the school for many years to come.

Preferred Location

Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula and Victoria … but will travel for special projects.
