Sharing Insights, Inspiration and Information
for Teaching Visual Arts

with Paula Lindley

Suitable for: ALL LEVELS

Session Times Available: (PM) AFTERNOON SESSION ONLY

The Visual Arts provides opportunities for students and teachers to engage and reflect on the intrinsic value of artworks and artist practices of the Asian region - as well as their place and value within the broader social, cultural, and political contexts.

This session aims to introduce Asian Art and its diversity through traditional forms and contemporary arts practice with examples of artworks by artists represented in Australian collections and galleries, both past and present exhibitions.
Participants are encouraged to share their own experiences in deepening intercultural understanding of their students in this important cross-curricular priority.
