Positive Journalling

with Louise Dunn & Elizabeth Diacos

This workshop is now SOLD OUT!

Elizabeth & Louise will be back with "Mindfulness & Positive Journaling" as part of the 2017 Nurturing Creativity Conference!

Positive Journalling can be a very powerful tool for positive personal change. This workshop is aimed at teachers who want the opportunity to tap into their own creativity as well as find ways to share these tools with their own students.

Workshop participants dream creatively of a Best Possible Self and then use that dream to envisage the future they want. Using drawing, writing, magazine cuttings and self-generated imagery, participants are able to get their ideas down in a journal which then serves as a touchstone: a reminder and a test of their ideas, and a stimulus to ongoing action.

Positive Journalling is a process rooted in a combination of an adapted Appreciative Inquiry model (normally used for organisational change) and a Positive Psychology personal coaching model that allows for the development of visual and literary creativity as well as enabling participants to develop a positive vision for their own futures.
