When the Book Met the Bicycle

Term: 1 Year: 2016

Students in Level 4 at Ringwood Heights Primary School worked with artist Mirranda Burton to explore different visual art forms (print-making, cartooning and Kamishibai theatres) to tell and share personal stories.

Students immersed themselves in Japanese and Indonesian traditional literature, folk tales and story-telling, providing a platform for them to create and share their own personal journeys. By reflecting on current personal identity, students explored how their past will influence and shape their future. This will be expressed through a variety of art forms.
